Solo GKJ Invite Reject Church Burning Quran

Javanese Christian Church (GKJ) Manahan Solo harshly criticized the plan of burningthe Koran by a Christian group of puritans, Dove World Outreach Center (DWOC) based in Florida, USA. The burning of the Koran holy book is considered to be hurt of relationships with Muslims and could cause new problems is greater.
Reverend GKJ Manahan, Retno Handayani Suryaning Ruth said it strongly disagreedwith the plan of burning the Koran. In fact, the action is not commendable. "GKJ Synodcalled for the burning of the Muslim holy book is not done," said Retno, Thursday, September 9, 2010.
